Citizens for Prison Reform invites you to our 14th Annual Legislative Education Day, “A Better Way for Michigan,” on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM at Lansing Central United Methodist Church, 215 N. Capitol Ave., Lansing, MI 48933.
For 14 years, Legislative Education Day has provided a crucial platform for families, advocates, community members, and policymakers to come together and discuss urgent issues surrounding rehabilitative justice.
Â
This year’s theme, “A Better Way for Michigan,” focuses on the need for Transparency, Accountability, Culture Change, and Oversight (TACO) in our jails and prisons. To amplify this message, we will be hosting a “Taco Tuesday” event for Legislative Education Day, offering additional opportunities for engagement and delicious tacos for lunch!
