FPP Virtual Monthly Meeting
Join Citizens for Prison Reform for a special FPP virtual event on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, focused on the urgent issue of solitary confinement.
We will screen our national partner Unlock the Box’s short documentary Solitary Confinement: State Sponsored Torture and hear from partners on the national Journey to Justice tour (September 4 – October 31, 2025, spanning 17 cities in 11 states) through a live or recorded check-in.
The evening will also feature poetry from a formerly incarcerated person or family member, lifting voices directly impacted by solitary confinement. This gathering offers an opportunity to learn, connect, and stand with a movement to end solitary confinement.

We’re also looking to connect with families and formerly incarcerated people who may want to share or read poetry at the upcoming Journey to Justice events, taking place October 15–17 at Michigan State University, the University of Michigan, and on the Capitol Lawn in Lansing.
