April FPP Detroit Meeting: Legislative Advocacy & Storytelling Workshop – Your Story, Our Future: Building a Better Michigan
The Family Participation Program invites you to a crucial workshop in Detroit on Saturday, April 26th, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM. Learn how to effectively communicate your experiences to legislators and advocate for meaningful change. You’ll gain empowerment by learning how to use your personal story to influence policy, connection with other families who share similar experiences, support in a safe and understanding environment, access to valuable resources and support services in the Detroit area, and the opportunity to become part of a strong network of advocates working to build a better way in Michigan. We believe your voice matters
Supported by: Citizens for Prison Reform, Team Wellness Center, Bridging Communities.
Please note: Detroit in-person meetings are held on the 4th Saturday of each month. For questions, please contact twalker@micpr.org or saraf@micpr.org.
